Aaron Leroy Shackelford

Mr. Aaron Shackelford, CFA joined Campion Asset Management in July 2007 and has performed in several capacities as the firm has grown.
Currently, he serves as Campion’s Director of Research and focuses on industry analysis, equities research, and accounting standards.
With 20 years of experience investment analysis and accounting experience, Aaron has served as a consultant for various registered investment advisory firms.
Additionally, Aaron has worked as a business valuation expert and as an accountant.
He has also worked at the CFA Institute, where he developed and managed educational seminars to meet the continuing education needs of portfolio managers and analysts.
Aaron gives back to the community through teaching.
For the last seven years, he has written Chartered Financial Analyst review materials and has taught at CFA preparatory programs.
He has taught numerous classes at Credit Suisse First Boston and Deutsche Bank and has been a featured speaker at conferences held by the American Association of Individual Investors, American Association of Certified Public Accountants, Securities Analysts Association of Japan, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and CFA Institute.
In addition, has served as an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Aaron is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Public Accountant.
He holds a MBA from the University of North Carolina and a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Florida.
In his spare time, Aaron enjoys traveling Europe and spending time at his home in Palm Coast, Florida.
