Mr. Sun was the Director & Team Leader at Merrill Lynch Capital’s Sponsor Coverage Group prior to joining BlackRock Kelso Capital.
He originated new investment opportunities with private equity groups on the West Coast and managed the portfolio of senior and junior/mezzanine credit facilities.
He spent six years with Deutsche Bank Securities' Structured Corporate Finance Group as Western Region Manager before joining Merrill Lynch Capital.
He worked principally with private equity groups providing senior and high yield debt in connection with buyouts and recapitalizations.
Prior to Deutsche Bank Securities, Mr. Sun spent thirteen years with Glenfed Capital Corp.
as Manager of the Corporate Banking Group providing uni-tranche financing for middle-market leveraged buyouts.
Mr. Sun received a B.S.
Degree from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business.
