Alex is a founder and Managing Partner at NorthCurrent Partners, where he is focused on pursuing and executing new investment opportunities alongside driving growth and value creation among existing portfolio companies.
Before launching NorthCurrent in 2019, Alex worked with a team of investors and entrepreneurs in his hometown in Central Florida where he structured growth-oriented investments in lower-middle market businesses across multiple industries.
Alex previously worked at Quad-C Management, a Charlottesville, Virginia-based private equity firm, where he executed multiple platform investments and drove value creation initiatives.
Alex began his career in the investment banking group at Stephens Inc. in New York, where he focused on M&A advisory work across multiple industries.
Alex earned a B.S.
in Engineering Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Alex also oversees alternative investing for Five Lakes Capital, a family office, and serves on the board of select companies.
