Ms. Alex Shen, CFA, is a Director of Research at The Burney Co. She joined the firm in 2012.
Her responsibilities include monitoring our proprietary models, analyzing portfolio performances, and researching and preparing studies on macro trends.
She is a quant by training and has a wide range of experience in the financial services industry.
Previously Ms. Shen worked in an analytical positions with Georgina Asset Management, the Virginia College Savings Plan and the Virginia Resources Authority’s Bond Issuing Program.
She received her Master in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
She is a CFA Institute member and a member of the CFA Virginia Society.
In 2007 she was awarded the CFA Institute Certificate of Achievement.
