Ambatipudi R.
Sastry is Chief Technology Officer of PacketHop, Inc. Prior to joining PacketHop, he was Program Director of the Telecommunications and Distributed Processing Group for SRI International from 1995 to 2002.
Before SRI International, Dr. Sastry held various research and development and management positions with the Rockwell International Science Center from 1982 to 1995 and the Space Applications Center of the Indian Space Research Organization from 1977 to 1980.
Previously, he held various visiting academic positions at the University of Minnesota from 1980 to 1982 and the University of Maryland from 1974 to 1977.
Dr. Sastry received his Master's degree in 1966 and a PhD in 1973 in Electrical Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
