Harvest’s investment program primarily consists of event driven investing, specifically merger arbitrage, special situations, long/short equity and investments in distressed securities. The Fund's investment objective is to make investments, both long and short, principally in the securities of public companies that are believed to be undervalued or overvalued with the objective of substantial capital appreciation over a short to intermediate term time horizon. Although, the firm invests primarily in equity securities, the Funds’ may also invest in debt securities, options, convertible securities, bank debt (both term loan and revolving loan facilities), warrants and American Depository Receipts (ADRs).

TAMCO’s fund is designed to allow offshore entities to invest in distressed debt in the US. Generally, the strategy is to acquire bonds, bank debt or trade claims at a discount to face value and hold them until a Chapter 11 plan of reorganization (or other financial restructuring) can be completed to deleverage the balance sheet of an otherwise healthy business. The focus is on the most senior claims in a company’s capital structure to limit downside risk. The fund never uses margin loans or other leverage, further limiting risk. The fund does not seek control positions in any of their investments but, when needed, the principals may serve on creditors’ committees or corporate boards.
