HDFC Asset Management Co. Ltd. (Investment Management) (HDFC-IM) is the fund management division of HDFC Asset Management Co. Ltd. (NSE: HDFCAMC), which is ultimately owned by HDFC Bank Ltd. (NSE: HDFCBANK) in India. The firm was founded in 1999 as a joint venture between HDFC and Standard Life Investments Ltd. Headquartered in Mumbai, HDFC-IM manages a range of mutual funds and provides portfolio management and advisory services for institutional investors and private individuals.

SBI Funds Management Ltd. (SBIFM) is an independent India-based mutual fund management firm which was founded in 1992 as a joint venture between State Bank of India (63%) and Societe Generale SA (37%) in France. In 2009, Societe Generale and Credit Agricole SA merged their global asset management businesses, and in 2011, Amundi SA (owned 75% by Credit Agricole and 25% by Societe Generale) acquired Societe Generale's stake. Headquartered in Mumbai, SBIFM actively manages investor's assets not only through their investment expertise in domestic mutual funds, but also through offshore funds and portfolio management advisory services. Their clients are various financial institutions, pension funds, local and international asset management companies.
