Prior to the formation of NYLIM Q.E.D.
Investments, Dr. Tew served as principal/director of research and was a founding member of the Quantitative Equity Division of Weiss, Peck and Greer, L.L.C.
He was responsible for the design, formation and management of the quantitative equity portfolios.
While at Weiss, Peck and Greer L.L.C., assets under his management grew from zero to $1.5 billion.
Dr. Tew has also served as co-director of research for the Eden Financial Corporation and as a faculty member for the departments of finance and agriculture for the University of Kentucky and Colorado State University.
Dr. Tew has been published frequently in finance and economics journals regarding his expertise in Quantitative Portfolio Theory.
Dr. Tew holds a BS in general science and business from Purdue University, a MBA from Indiana University and a Ph.D.
from the University of Georgia in applied economics.
