Bernie Rhinerson is Vice President of Southwest Strategies LLC and an Adjunct Professor at San Diego State University.
Prior to co-founding Southwest Strategies in 2000, he was an Executive Director of the Biomedical Industry Council from 1991 to 1996, Chairman of the San Diego County Water Authority from 2002 to 2004, and President of the San Diego State Alumni Association.
Mr. Rhinerson was an Advisor of the City of San Diego, the City of Oceanside and the City of Del Mar, a Director of the Building Industry Board, and a Member of San Diego Park.
Previously, he held various positions at BearingPoint, Inc., Lennar Corp., Delaware North Cos., Inc., San Diego Port of, Sempra Energy, Lego Systems, Inc., Pardee Homes, and LEGOLAND California.
Mr. Rhinerson has more than 20 years of experience in public sector and corporate clients to develop and implement successful communications programs.
He received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from San Diego State University.
