Bill Waite

Mr. Waite joined SMC Capital in October 2007.
Concurrently, he is a Senior Consultant with The AEgis Technology Group, which he joined in April of 2006.
AEgis specializes in providing computer modeling and simulation engineering and consulting services, as well as proprietary software products to customers around the world.
Previously, Mr. Waite was Managing Partner with Blue Grouse Partners from August 2006 until September 2007.
While there, he was responsible for business plan development, financial analysis, and corporate valuation.
From February 2003 until February 2006, he was Director of Development Operations with Lifespan, and from 2001 until 2003, he was Director of New Initiatives with Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Mr. Waite graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in Philosophy in 1998.
He earned an MBA in 2004 from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
His interests outside of work include travel, snowboarding, reading, and history.
