The firm was founded in 2002 and formerly known as CI Private Wealth LLC. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of Corient Partners LLC, ultimately owned by CI Financial Corp. (TSX: CIX) in Canada. Corient provides wealth management services to individuals, families, pension plans, trusts, endowments, other institutional clients and private funds managed through Corient IA LLC, a separate but related adviser established in March of 2023.

Avalon Advisors LLC, do-business-as Avalon Investment & Advisory (Avalon), is a wealth management firm and SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in Houston, Texas. The firm was founded in 2001 by Henry Lartigue, Willie Langston and Kevin Lilly. They were acquired in 2023 by CI Financial Corp. (TSX: CIX) in Canada through its indirect subsidiaries. Avalon provides both discretionary and non-discretionary investment advice, asset allocation and related services to high net-worth separate account clients and institutional investors. The firm also acts as investment manager for several privately placed pooled investment funds.

PineBridge Investments LLC is a SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in New York City. The firm was founded in 2010 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pinebridge Investments Holdings (US) LLC, ultimately held by Chiltonlink Ltd. in British Virgin Islands. PineBridge Investments provides investment management/advisory services to predominantly sophisticated institutional and ultra-high net worth individual clients. Clients can opt to invest through separately managed accounts, mutual funds, and other pooled vehicles.
