Brian P. Leitch

Prior to joining Perseus LLC in July 2007, Mr. Leitch was head of Arnold & Porter’s business reorganization and bankruptcy practice, which was regularly recognized in Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers as a leading bankruptcy and restructuring practice.
He has several years of experience working with private equity funds, major corporations, airlines, financial institutions, and other clients on such matters as restructurings and reorganizations.
He has represented investors in several of the larger business reorganization transactions undertaken by private equity firms in the United States, and has represented numerous parties in other major U.S.
Chapter 11 proceedings, as well as in international and multi-jurisdictional insolvency proceedings.
He received the Turnaround Management Association Large Company Transaction of the Year Award for his work in leading the reorganization of US Airways and its merger with America West.
While practicing as a lawyer, Mr. Leitch received frequent recognition as a leading restructuring expert in Chambers USA, The Legal 500, Best Lawyers in America, and Lawdragon 500, among other publications.
He serves as a Board member for the following Perseus portfolio companies: Established Brands International, Inc., Haggar Corp., Lumexis Corporation, and Workflow Management, Inc. Mr. Leitch holds a B.A. in accounting from the University of Iowa and a J.D.
from the University of Iowa College of Law.
While obtaining his law degree, Mr. Leitch also taught accounting at the University of Iowa College of Business and was a licensed CPA.
