Mr. Bruce C.
Williams, CFA, is a Partner at Ironwood Investment Counsel LLC since 2003.
He has over 39 years of experience in banking and financial services.
He joined the firm in February 2003.
Mr. Williams began his career at the First National Bank & Trust Company of Oklahoma City, where he spent nine years.
His tenure at the bank included six years in the Trust Investment Division, during which time he was involved with municipal bond and equity trading, as well as security analysis and portfolio management.
He was also involved in corporate finance and venture capital with First Oklahoma Bancorporation, the holding company that owned First National Bank.
In 1986, he joined L.
Roy Papp & Associates, and became a partner in 1991.
In addition to managing accounts for his private clients, he oversaw the equity trading for the firm's five public mutual funds.
He is a member of CFA Institute and the Phoenix CFA Society.
He is a Board member of the Arizona Chapter of the Nature Conservancy and served as Chairman from 2000 to 2003.
Mr. Williams received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1991.
