Ms. Carolyn B.
Bergen is Chief of Accounting, Compliance & Risk Management at Family Capital Trust Co. Ms. Bergen joined Family Capital in 2001 as the finance and HR director for the Company.
She brings over 30 years of accounting experience to the firm along with experience in the legal, software and finance fields.
In 2011, she earned the title of Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist.
At that time she was appointed Director of Compliance and Risk Management at FCTC.
She works closely with the President of FCTC on all financial functions and acts as the liaison for all financial, fiduciary and regulatory audits along with interfacing with the company’s IT and HR vendors.
Ms. Bergen education includes a BS in English from Central Connecticut State University, an MBA from Babson College as well as a paralegal certification from Bentley University and fiduciary and investment risk certification from Cannon Financial Institute.
