Charles G.
Dannis is the founder of Crosson Dannis, Inc. founded in 1977.
He is currently the Chairman-Emeritus of Dallas Marathon, Director of The Friends of The Katy Trail, Member of The Urban Land Institute, Appraisal Institute, Pension Real Estate Association, and American Real Estate Society.
He is also a Director of National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries and a Professor at SMU-Cox School of Business since 1988.
Mr. Dannis was formerly the Chairman of TIER REIT, Inc. from 2013 to 2015.
He received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University.

The organization was formed in 1997 to transform an abandoned railroad line into a greenbelt park. The Katy Trail is a 3.5-mile rail trail that follows the former rail bed of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad. The organization raises funds to maintain and enhance the landscaping, provide lighting, water, security patrols, and amenities such as benches.
