Prior to joining CDIB Ventures, Mr. Lau was an international banker in New York, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Mr. Lau was a founding member of Dah An Commercial Bank in Taiwan and a board member of Concord Venture Capital, a joint venture formed by Walsin Lihwa Corp.
(parent of Winbond Semiconductors), Sumitomo Trust and Salomon Brothers.
During the same period, Mr. Lau was also Special Assistant to Walsin's chairman, overseeing the company's international investment projects and M&A activities.
He currently serves as a Director on the boards of Garuda Networks, WaveSplitter and Brightware.
