Charles Robertson

Mr. Charles Robertson is a Managing Director at AdvisorShares Investments LLC.
He has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.
From starting out as a brokerage trader at Fidelity Investments in a call center environment, Charles moved into a training role where he instructed new traders on everything from how to place trades to understanding client needs so that exceptional service was provided to each customer.
He then moved into a fledgling e-business group at Fidelity Investments and helped to develop one of the first online web-based trading platforms.
He then moved into product management and helped launch Fidelity’s first trading platform geared toward active traders.
Mr. Robertson also brings an extensive business analysis background from working at JPMorganChase, Etrade Financial and Intuit.
While at Etrade Financial, Charles headed the launch of two new brokerage sweep funds, as well as launched a new high-interest checking product for Etrade’s bank customers.
Mr. Robertson earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Baylor University, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
Charles is also a Veteran of the Persian Gulf War where he served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Army’s Military Intelligence Corps.
He lives in Beverly Hills, CA.
