Mr. Currie earned his bachelor’s degree fromthe Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
While at ASU, he received the Rolex/Golf Digest Journalism Award, an annual award chosen by the editors of Golf Digest and given to the nation’s top collegiate golf writer.
