Altscher is an Portfolio Manager & Head of Macro Research at FJ Capital Management LLC.
His responsibilities include investment research and portfolio management with a focus on BDCs, Capital Markets, Homebuilders, REITs, Mortgaged Related Companies, and Specialty Finance.

Prior to this, he was a Corporate Banking Analyst at Citigroup.
He has an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
He also has a BS from New York University’s Leonard N.
Stern School of Business with a dual major in Finance and International Business, and a minor in History.
