David C. Patch

Prior to joining MCA, Mr. Patch was a Managing Director in the Fixed Income Credit Group of Pacific Life Insurance which managed a $6 billion private placement debt portfolio and monitored public bond portfolios totaling $17.5 billion and was also a team leader and specialized in project finance and financial institutions.
Prior to joining Pacific Life Insurance, Mr. Patch was Vice President and Director of the Private Placement Group at Lincoln Investment Management, which managed over $7 billion of private placement debt and equity investments.
Before that, he was with Aetna Life and Casualty for 11 years in a variety of investment roles including private placements, investment strategy and portfolio management.
Prior to entering the investment business, Mr. Patch was the legislative assistant to the U.S.
House of Representatives Committee on the District of Columbia, following fiscal and economic issues.
Mr. Patch graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A., Summa Cum Laude in 1975, majoring in Economics and Political Science; he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in that year.
He received an MBA from the Yale School of Management in 1980.
Mr. Patch has also served on the Advisory Boards of ChinaVest IV, L.P., the India Private Equity Fund, L.P., and Insurance Partners, L.P.
and has held numerous community and church related leadership roles.
