Edward E. Whitacre

Edward E.
Whitacre served as the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of SBC Communications, Inc. from 1990 to 2005, and as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AT&T, Inc. from 2005 to 2007.
He also served as the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of General Motors Co. and Motors Liquidation Co. in 2010, and as a Director of General Motors Corp.
in 2009.
Additionally, he was a Director of Anheuser-Busch Cos.
LLC from 1988 to 2008, and a Lead Director of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp.
from 1993 to 2010.
He was also a Director of Emerson Electric Co. from 1990 to 2004, and a Director of The May Department Stores Co. from 1989 to 2004.
He served as an Independent Director of Exxon Mobil Corp.
from 2011 to 2014, and as a Director of WellAware Holdings, Inc. He started his career as a Facility Engineer at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and served as a Trustee of Southwest Research Institute.
Mr. Whitacre received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University in 1964.
