Fred Belak

Mr. Federico Belak is Chief Investment Officer at Lombard Odier Asset Management (Switzerland) SA. He was previously employed as Partner & Portfolio Manager by Stoneworks Asset Management LLP.
Prior to joining Stoneworks in May 2008, he was an Executive Director trading proprietary capital in the Chief Investment Office at JP Morgan Chase, where he was responsible for the foreign exchange group.
Previously he spent over six years with UBS O¡¯Connor Ltd, where he was a Portfolio Manager for the UBS Currency Portfolio and focused on developed and emerging markets, interest rates and sovereign credits.
Earlier in his career, he worked for Barclays Group as Global Head of Asian Currencies, trading developed and emerging markets foreign exchange, options, forwards, T-bills, etc.
In addition, he spent six years at O¡¯Connor and Associates / SBC Warburg, where he focused on foreign exchange trading in developed and emerging markets.
He has spent over 17 years in the investment industry and has extensive experience in developed and emerging markets, and foreign exchange products.
Mr. Belak earned an MBA in 1991 and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, both from Cornell University in New York.
