Gabriel Tossou

Nicaise is responsible for managing Global Partnerships’ Nairobi office team and relationships with all our partners in Africa, leading GP’s investments and selection process of potential partners that have social and credit profiles aligned to GP’s mission across the continent.
Nicaise joined GP in 2019 to lead GP's investment presence in Francophone Africa and is now helping build the entire Africa portfolio and representing GP in relevant aspects as Vice President.
He has more than twenty years’ experience in microfinance operations, technical assistance, and lending to MFIs and social enterprises in agriculture and SME Banks.
Before joining GP, Nicaise has been Country Manager for Oikocredit in Benin where he built regional experience in Francophone West Africa.
He holds a master’s degree in Audit and Finance and relevant certificates in Financial Modeling and Valuation, Savings and Credit Cooperative Management, and Digital Finance.
He has a depth of knowledge in Financial Inclusion, Social Performance Management, and Project Management.
