Gary Jacobs

Gary Jacobs is the founder and the Managing Director of Jacobs Investment Co. LLC, which was founded in 1997.
He is currently the Chairman of the Jewish Community Centers Association of North America, High Tech High School, Nutrina Ltd., Sebana Medical Ltd., New Generation Technologies Ltd., Galilee-Tech Management Ltd., GEO2 Technologies, Inc., Fallbrook Technologies, Inc., Viryd Technologies, Inc., Novum Medical, Inc., San Diego Padres Baseball Club, Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, Inc., MST Medical Surgery Technologies Ltd., Lawrence Family Jewish Community Centers of San Diego County, Metallo Therapy Ltd., HTH Graduate School of Education, and A.R Guide In Medical Ltd. He is also a Board Member of NGT New Generation Technologies Ltd. and a Trustee of the UC San Diego Foundation.
Previously, he served as the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of DermTech Operations, Inc. from 2006 to 2013.
He has also held positions as Chairman of Ora Bio Ltd., Director of The San Diego Symphony Orchestra Association, Director of the Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego, Director of Motus G.I.
Medical Technologies Ltd., Director of Remedor Biomed Ltd., Director of ParaSonic Ltd., Independent Director of Motus GI Holdings, Inc. from 2016 to 2020, and Independent Director of DermTech, Inc. from 2019 to 2021.
Additionally, he worked as a Software Engineer & Senior Education Specialist at QUALCOMM, Inc. and as a Software Programmer at Linkabit Corp.
Mr. Jacobs obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of California San Diego in 1979.
