George Eremic

George is a Managing Partner at IPM Hong Kong.
He is focused on IPM’s fundraising activities in the APAC region and the sourcing and execution of global infrastructure and real assets transactions.
George has over thirteen years of private investing, investment banking and financial advisory experience, predominantly focused on energy resources (upstream oil & gas), energy/power infrastructure, general industrial and telecoms transactions across a variety of different investment products (equity, bank/bond debt, M&A, hedging/derivatives).
Prior to joining IPM, George was a partner at EST Energy Partners, an energy investment, asset development and advisory firm focused on upstream oil & gas and energy infrastructure assets (pipelines, gas storage and processing).
Prior to that, George was a principal with a family office in Houston, US making direct principal investments in oil & gas/upstream conventional assets in North America, where he led the execution, financing as well as portfolio management activities.
Prior to his career in principal investments in the Energy and Infrastructure space, George worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank and Lazard in the US, where he helped execute more than US$15bn in M&A and Leveraged Finance transactions for Tier 1 global corporates and leading private equity sponsors.
George began his career at Ernst & Young within the Energy Risk Management advisory group in the US.
During his career George has lived and worked in a diverse set of geographies such as the US, Serbia, the UK, Brazil, United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong/China.
George holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School in New York and a BA in Economics (with Honors) from Oberlin College in the United States.
