Gil Rivas

Mr. Gil Rivas is Vice President-Operations of Bacchus Vascular, Inc. He has 17 years of medical device industry experience.
He spent 10 years at American Hospital Supply, later Baxter Healthcare Corporation, in a variety of sales, marketing, product development and international management roles.
He successfully introduced the Colleague Infusion Pump at Baxter before joining the Cordis business at Johnson and Johnson in 1997.
He spent the next 5 years helping to create the market-leading Endovascular Business Unit, where he last was head of the Global Marketing Team at Cordis.
Most recently, he headed Lifescan's Global Marketing Group for their $1.3 Billion Blood Glucose Monitoring Business.
He holds an undergraduate degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
