Gregg R. Evangelist

Mr. Evangelist joined Pinnacle Associates in April of 2009.
For more than six years prior to joining Pinnacle, he served as a Portfolio Manager for high net worth individuals, families and institutions at Baxter Investment Management.
He earned a B.A.
degree with honors from Colgate University and a J.D.
degree from The National Law Center at George Washington University.
Upon his graduation from law school, he entered private practice, specializing in securities and investment law.
As an attorney he counseled investors as well as securities professionals, and he has been published in the Seton Hall University Law Review on the subject of brokerage compliance and sales practices.
Mr. Evangelist' business experience also includes serving as General Counsel of an NASD-member broker-dealer firm.
As both an in-house and private practice attorney for nearly thirteen years prior to joining Baxter in 2003, Mr. Evangelist specialized in securities law and regulation, compliance, and securities arbitration and dispute resolution.
He has been published in the Seton Hall University Law Review and other publications and has been a frequent speaker on regulatory compliance, investing and other related topics.
He is a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP).
He and his family reside on the North Shore of Long Island.
