Dr. Evans joined Yaletown in 2010 after working at ISIS, a research centre at the Sauder School of Business at UBC concentrating on cleantech and social innovations.
Prior to this experience, he consulted with Library House (acquired by Dow Jones Financial Information Services) on high technology clusters with special interest towards energy sectors.
He was selected as one of Cambridge most promising students by Oliver Wyman and has been awarded multiple awards in entrepreneurship, in particular for GeoAgronomics, an agritech business he co-founded specialising in improving the production of premium wine grapes.
He brings expert knowledge of the investment, political and social spheres.
Dr. Evans holds degrees from the Universities of Edinburgh and Cambridge and has been a visiting scholar at both McGill University and the University of British Columbia.
He earned his PhD from the University of Cambridge.
