Cherem, CFA MBA, is a Head of New Initiatives & Relative Portfolio Manager at PAAMCO Prisma LLC.
Mr. Cherem is a Managing Director and Partner, joined PAAMCO in 2004, and serves on the PAAMCO Prisma Executive Committee.
He focuses on the evaluation and management of relative value and opportunistic investments.
He focuses on identifying new, uncorrelated sources of alpha through fundamental analysis and their optimal integration into client portfolios.
He is involved in the ongoing development of the firm’s risk criteria and quantitative aspects of portfolio construction.
Mr. Cherem also manages several hedge fund solutions for large institutions with a focus on emerging and minority owned managers.
He is the co-chair of the Investment Oversight Committee and Head of New Initiatives for the firm.
Over the years, he has led a number of areas at the firm including strategy allocation, portfolio solutions, and the associate partnership program.
He earned his MBA from Columbia Business School after graduating from the Universidad Simon Bolivar of Venezuela with a BS in Production Engineering.
