Jack Donnelly

Mr. John T.
Donnelly, CFA, is a Head of Strategic Initiatives at Sun Life Capital Management (US) LLC.
He leads strategic initiatives that focus on evolving the fixed income business at the firm.
In 2005, Mr. Donnelly started the first of many worldwide roles spanning investment, product, strategy and research, bringing with him a strong background across multiple asset classes including public fixed income, equities, real estate, derivatives, and liability-driven investing.
His current mandate is broad, covering oversight of the firm’s governance framework, analytics and reporting across asset classes as well as performance attribution.
He has over 30 years of experience working for Sun Life where he started in actuarial positions before moving to senior investment roles covering public fixed income, U.S.
REIT, equities, and asset liability management.
Mr. Donnelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economics from Colgate University and a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College, and is a CFA Charterholder.
