Mr. Lorimer started his investment management career in 1962 with Excelsior Life.
He moved to Co-operators Investment Counselling in 1986 with 24 years experience in retail and institutional investment management, including 10 years as a Portfolio Manager at National Trust.
As Vice President Fixed Income, Mr. Lorimer is repsonsible for developing the bond investment direction and strategy.
He specializes in trading Government of Canada bonds and manages over $2 billion in active and immunized fixed income assets.
Mr. Lorimer graduated from McMaster University with a B.A.
Economics.
