Mr. James M.
Powell is a Vice President & Portfolio Manager at Van Liew Capital, Inc. Mr. Powell joined VAN LIEW in 2018 and has administrative and portfolio responsibilities.
Previously, he was an investment product specialist at Ironwood Investment Management in Boston following almost a decade with Fidelity Investments and everal years as a structured finance analyst at Deloitte & Touche LLP in New York City.
Prior to his investment career, Mr. Powell served as an infantry officer for nine years in the United States Army.
He earned an MBA from the University of Rochester, a BS degree from St. Lawrence University and has attended the ABA National Trust School.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst charterholder, a member of the CFA Society Boston and a member of the Financial Planning Association®.
