James R. Brown

Mr. James R.
Brown is a Portfolio Manager at Dixon Advisory & Superannuation Services Ltd.
As Portfolio Manager, Mr. Brown is primarily responsible for managing the investment process for the portfolios of the Asian Masters Fund and Emerging Markets Masters Fund.
He works closely with the other members of the funds management team in researching and selecting appropriate funds for investment.
He also liaises with the boards of both funds, as well as with members of Dixon Advisory’s Investment Committee.
Before joining Dixon Advisory, Mr. Brown worked at Winterflood Securities.
He provided recommendations and research on funds across all asset classes with a particular focus on listed investment companies.
He developed processes to assess potential fund managers, their strategies and performance while also building up a strong network of high quality fund managers.
Prior to joining Winterflood, Mr. Brown worked for five years at KPMG in Sydney in audit and advisory roles.
Mr. Brown has a Bachelors of Business from University of Technology Sydney.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
