James R. Shanks

James R.
Shanks has been Executive Vice President of CDW Corp.
and President of CDW Government, Inc. since 2001.
He joined CDW in 1993 as Director of Information Technology and was appointed Vice President of Information Systems in 1996.
Mr. Shanks served as Chief Information Officer of CDW from 1999 to 2001.
He served as Manager of Information Systems for American Hotel Register from January 1985 to August 1993.
Mr. Shanks received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Barat College in 1991 and a degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in 1996.
