Prior to joining FIS Group, Mr. Schermerhorn he was Regional Vice President for Patriot Bank from 2004 to 2007 and, prior to that, from 1999 to 2004, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Republic First Bank.
The bulk of Mr. Schermerhorn’s banking experience was obtained at Mellon Bank where he spent 25 years and rose to become Managing Director, National Business Banking and served as Mellon’s director of the Greater Philadelphia Venture Capital Corporation.
Mr. Schermerhorn holds a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Accounting from Muhlenberg College and a degree in banking from Rutgers University, Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
