Jemima Richards

Jemima’s healthcare background includes industry and consultancy experience in both Europe and the US.
Jemima undertook a 12-month undergraduate industrial placement with Glaxo Group Research.
After graduating from Bristol University with a B.Sc.
(Hons) in Chemistry, Jemima joined LEK Consulting, a global strategy consultancy.
Jemima spent 12 months in the London office, working on a variety of strategy and M&A projects in a broad range of industries.
Subsequent to this, Jemima transferred to the Boston office where she participated in a number of projects for clients in the healthcare sector.
On returning to the UK, Jemima accepted a position with Imperial College Innovations, the technology transfer group of Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine.
Here she was responsible for the project management of spin-out ventures emanating from the Departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Her involvement spanned from the analysis of the business case for each proposal, to overseeing company formation, the preparation of a business plan and assisting the scientific founders in identifying necessary finance and management.
In addition, Jemima project managed the private sale of a 30% interest in a selected portfolio of equity stakes held by Imperial College in 36 spin-out companies.
Jemima joined Coulter Partners in May 2005.
