Mr. Joseph M.
Denski is Executive Vice President at Smithfield Trust Co. & Executive Vice President-Investments at Smithfield Equity Associates LLC.
He joined Smithfield Trust Company in November 2011.
With greater than 25 years of experience in the wealth management industry, he works with clients on matters of investment strategy, investment policy, risk management and asset allocation.
Prior to joining Smithfield, Mr. Denski was employed by National City Bank of Pennsylvania where his roles included serving as Senior Investment Officer in charge of a department responsible for $5 billion of client assets.
He served as the head of Key Bank’s Family Wealth Investment Group.
His memberships and affiliations include the Pittsburgh Society of Financial Analysts, the College for Financial Planning, the Economic Club of Pittsburgh, the Advisory Board of the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, and the CFA Institute.
He is also a member of the Investment Committee for The Gathering Place, a Cleveland based not-for-profit which provides support for those touched by cancer.
Mr. Denski earned his Bachelor's of Science degree from Duquesne University’s School of Business and his MBA degree from Point Park University.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation.
