Mr. Swhear is Chief Compliance Officer of Unified Financial Securities, Inc. He is also Senior Vice President of the Unified Series Trust, Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer of the Valued Advisers Trust; Secretary to the Huntington Funds; and President of the Dreman Contrarian Funds.
Prior to joining Huntington Asset Services in 2007, Mr. Swhear was Associate General Counsel for all federal securities law matters at American United Life Insurance Company.
He held numerous positions at American United Life Insurance Company over a 24-year period, including Chief Compliance Officer of the registered Investment Advisor, Chief Compliance Officer and Assistant Secretary of OneAmerica Funds, and Chief Counsel and Secretary for OneAmerica Securities.
Mr. Swhear earned a degree in computer science from Ball State University and a law degree from the Indiana University School of Law.
He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 26 securities licenses.
