John David Schuman

Mr. John D.
Schuman, CPA, is a Chief Planning Officer & Co-CEO at BRR Opco LLC.
His expertise includes estate planning and taxation, income tax, general business and succession planning, and charitable and retirement planning.
He is currently licensed attorney, he adds an exceptional perspective to the firm.
Prior to joining Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, he was a senior manager with Deloitte & Touche in its Private Client Advisory group.
Previously, he practiced law with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey.
He is a past president of the Board of Trustees of the ALS Association Central and Southern Ohio Chapter, and a former trustee and treasurer of the Rotary Club of Upper Arlington Foundation.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Capital University Law School (summa cum laude).
He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and the Columbus, State of Ohio, and American Bar Associations.
He also serves as a member of the Professional Council of The Columbus Foundation and as an advisory board member of the Conway Family Business Center of Central Ohio.
