Mr. Clarkson began working as a consultant with Lime Rock in late 1998 shortly after its formation.
Previously, he spent 17 years in operations in the Canadian oil and gas industry.
For ten years beginning in 1987, Mr. Clarkson increased his responsibilities within Renaissance Energy from Senior Engineer to Manager of Oil Development and Manager of Acquisitions & Divestitures.
While at Renaissance Energy, Mr. Clarkson and his team's responsibilities included production optimization, project scoping, horizontal and infill drilling programs, regulatory applications, acquisitions, divestitures, and reserve evaluations.
Dr. Clarkson serves on the Board of Directors of NQL Energy Services, Marauder Resources, and Slate River Resources.
He also serves on the investment committee of Lime Rock Resources.
He previously served on the Board of Directors of Deer Creek Energy, IPEC, SmartSynch, Patriot Drilling, and U.S.
Exploration Holdings.
Mr. Clarkson is a graduate with a B.Sc.
in Geological Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
He is registered as a professional engineer in the Province of Alberta.
