John Tam

Prior to joining Accretive, Dr. Tam was a Director in New Product Development at the Advisory Board Company, a leading provider of best practices research and analysis for the healthcare industry, where he co-launched the Innovations Center Solutions growth strategy practice.
Before joining the Advisory Board, Dr. Tam worked with Advent International, one of the largest global private equity firms, in their Health Care & Life Sciences Venture Capital Group.
At Advent, Dr. Tam focused on early-stage healthcare services and healthcare information technology companies.
Prior to Advent, Dr. Tam was a Principal with CSC Healthcare (formerly APM Management Consultants, Inc.) where he advised academic medical centers, community hospitals, and physician practice groups in strategy, operations, and technology optimization.
Dr. Tam received his M.D.
from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he co-authored clinical research in dermatology.
He received his Bachelor's Degree from Williams College, graduating summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
