Jose Biton

Jose Biton joined WM partners in 2021 and serves as Managing Director.
He has over 20 years of experience in finance, investments, and operations.
Mr. Biton works closely with WM Partners’ portfolio companies to help them execute on their growth objectives.
Additionally, Mr. Biton helps evaluate acquisition opportunities for the firm.
Prior to joining WM Partners, Mr. Biton served as Chief Financial Officer of Intcomex Global, a leading IT distribution platform in Latin America.
Before that, he also served as CFO and president of Rocket Learning, a fast-growing education company.
For both companies, Mr. Biton closed numerous acquisitions and their subsequent integrations, negotiated financing, completed buyouts from institutional shareholders, and oversaw a large team of professionals.
Mr. Biton also has over 6 years of institutional investment experience, first with Utah based separately managed account RIA Albion Financial and later with Crystal Advisors, a Miami based fund of hedge funds.
Mr. Biton began his professional career as an industrial engineer using simulation software to advise Fortune 500 companies such as UPS, Intel, IBM, Russell Athletics and others.
Mr. Biton enjoys being active in his community and spending time with his family.
He has served as chair of the budget committee for Bal Harbour, and is currently on the board of Camp Judaea.
Mr. Biton earned an MSIE and a BIE from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
