Ms. Judith Chan, CFA, is a Vice President & Head of Multi-Asset Portfolios at Northwest & Ethical Investments LP (NEI).
She is responsible for leading the design, construction, and oversight of NEI’s multi-manager, multi-asset portfolios.
She also leads the implementation of strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions and trading functions.
She has over 15 years of experience managing multi-asset portfolios, bringing deep expertise in asset allocation, portfolio optimization, investment strategy design, and managing and monitoring day-to-day portfolio activities.
Prior to joining NEI, Ms. Chan managed over $48 billion in assets across seven portfolio programs for one of Canada’s big banks.
Before that she worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Merrill Lynch Hong Kong.
Ms. Chan was previously employed as a Portfolio Manager by 1832 Asset Management LP and an Associate Analyst by Merrill Lynch (Asia Pacific) Ltd.
She has a Bachelor of Economics from Simon Fraser University and is a CFA Charterholder.
