Jürgen Neumann studied in Stuttgart and Donezk/Ukraine and holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
After finishing his studies he was awarded a research fellowship by the German National Merit Foundation at the RIKEN Institute, Wako-shi, Japan.
In 1996 he joined Siemens AG, where he first worked as software developer in the public telecommunications group and later as consultant on various international projects for Siemens Management Consulting.
Prior to joining Apax Partners in 2001, he received an MBA from Harvard Business School, Boston/MA.
Jürgen has concentrated on early and late stage investments in the telecommunications and information technology sector and was involved in the Telcast Media Group and Kabel Deutschland transactions.
