Ms. Young has many years of market and investment research experience.
Prior to Silver Oaks, Ms. Young managed four sector equity portfolios including retail services, commercial services and telecommunication services and co-managed the large cap growth portfolio as a portfolio manager with Allstate Investments from 2003 through 2005.
Ms. Young held various fundamental investment research and portfolio management positions with Stein Roe & Farnham and Strong Capital Management from 1994 through 2002.
Ms. Young worked closely with senior managements of consumer packaged goods companies on marketing strategy consulting assignments with Marketing Corporation of America from 1987 to 1989 and with MSP Marketing Services from 1991 to 1994.
Ms. Young started her research career as an associate in equity research with Kidder Peabody & Company in 1985.
Ms. Young received an M.B.A.
from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Georgetown University.
Ms. Young is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
