He has over 20 years of experience in the private equity industry both in the Maghreb region and Sub-Saharan Africa.
As an Executive Partner of AfricInvest, Karim has participated in the structuring and execution of several equity transactions both on the investment and divestment sides.
He acts as a board member for a number of investee companies in the Maghreb region, Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe.
Prior to co-founding AfricInvest in 1994, Karim served as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche, where he headed many audit and strategic consulting missions (1992-1994).
He also worked with STLM-Lafarge, and served as a Senior Auditor at the Commissariat Audit and Organization (CAO).
Karim is a Graduate of the Institut Supérieur de Gestion, Tunis (ISG).
