Smith, CPA, is Chief Financial Officer at The Pritzker Group (Venture Capital) (Formerly New World Ventures LLC).
Ms. Smith joined Pritzker Group Venture Capital in February, 2000 from Thoma Cressey Equity Partners, a national private equity firm specializing in industry consolidations.
Prior to Thoma Cressey, Ms. Smith worked part-time as an assistant to the treasurer in a private family office and started her own small tax preparation and accounting service out of her home.
Previous to this part-time work, she worked full time as a tax manager at KPMG, focusing on high net worth individuals, privately held businesses and real estate limited partnerships.
Ms. Smith earned her BS with a double major in accounting and finance from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) and earned her Masters in the Science of Taxation (M.S.T.) from DePaul University.
She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
