L. Jeffrey Aker

Mr. Aker joined the Gargoyle Group of Companies in 2005.
Previously, he was an on-floor market maker and member of the American Stock Exchange from 1987 to 2005.
His trading strategy focused on analyzing relatively misvalued options in less closely-followed issues.
In addition to being a successful trader, he trained and supervised several new traders, served on the Executive Board of the Option Market Makers Association, and was both a Floor Official and Exchange Official whose view was often sought in particularly difficult disputes.
Mr. Aker received a J.D.
degree from New York University School of Law in 1976 and practiced law in New York City prior to joining Shearson American Express (now part of Smith Barney) as a financial consultant.
He graduated from Wesleyan University in 1973.
He is a Bridge Gold Life Master with several top ten finishes in nationally- rated championships.
