The Tuckerman Group employs direct real estate investment strategies that focus exclusively on a value-added or opportunistic orientation. The firm targets value-added investments in real estate development and redevelopment projects including the redevelopment, renovation and rehabilitation of existing office, retail, multi-family and mixed-use properties throughout the US. The firm also offers investment strategies that focus on investments in securities issued by real estate companies. Tuckerman manages both active and passive US REIT strategies that include institutional commingled funds and client separate accounts for both US and international investors. In addition, Tuckerman offers a European real estate securities index strategy that seeks to provide institutional investors a liquid and diversified passive exposure to the European real estate securities market. The firm created the EPRA Liquid 40 Index, which includes the 40 most liquid European real estate securities and maintains the geographic and property sector diversification of the broader EPRA European benchmark. Tuckerman also constructed a customized, liquid EPRA ex-UK Index, which allows investors to independently manage their exposure to the predominant country of the region. The firm offers a global liquid real estate securities index strategy. They created a customized liquid global index that meets minimal trading and liquidity requirements, but maintains the important diversification characteristics of the broader global real estate securities universe. Investors can independently allocate exposure to the six geographical regions that comprise the global real estate securities index.
