LCP's International Equity Value Portfolio seeks capital appreciation through a value-focused investment process. It is an actively managed, diversified portfolio of non-U.S. stocks with an investable universe, at the time of purchase, of companies with a U.S. dollar equivalent market-cap greater than $1 billion. The strategy utilizes a Graham & Dodd approach to investing.

CSC uses the fundamental analysis method in formulating their investment advice and/or managing client assets. They attempt to measure the intrinsic value of a security by looking at economic and financial factors which include, but are not limited to, the overall economy, industry conditions, and the financial condition and management of the company itself to assess in our opinion if a security is underpriced relative to its market value. If the firm assesses that the company is underpriced relative to their estimate of intrinsic value, they are potential buyers. If it is overpriced, the firm will not make a purchase or may sell the security if they own it. CSC uses the following investment strategies in managing client accounts: small cap value; small cup plus; small cap focus; all cap value; and strategic value.

Lakeway primarily invests in US small-, mid- and large-cap value/growth stocks. The firm manages the Yaupon Partners LP and the Yaupon Partners II LP hedge funds. They invest heavily in the manufacturing and non-energy minerals industries. Lakeway maintains a medium turnover rate.
